Haygrove Year 7 Students Visit the Eden Project with Knowle Hall Students
Last Friday, Year 7 students from Haygrove School visited the Eden Project in Cornwall. This visit was part of an ongoing partnership with Knowle Hall, aimed at enriching the students' learning experiences through collaborative activities and field trips.
Students from both Haygrove School and Knowle Hall explored the stunning biomes and interactive exhibits, learning about the importance of sustainability and the diversity of plant life from around the world.
Students were given a bag of products to trace their connections to rainforests, highlighting ingredients like palm oil, coconut oil, and beef from deforested pastures. This activity aimed to raise awareness about how everyday food choices impact rainforests globally.
