Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day at Haygrove

Mrs Brazier and her team of students organised a Odd Socks Day and Cake Sale to mark World Down Syndrome Day. They raised a fantastic £419.37! Thank you to everyone who contributed cakes and goodies.

One of Haygrove’s students Nancy had the opportunity to help her sister, also a former Haygrove student, launch an epic race from Land’s End to John O’Groats to also raise funds for the Down Syndrome Association and Down Syndrome Scotland. The relay run involves about 60 people and started on 21st March. The runners are well on their way and have already passed Manchester - it will take about three weeks to complete. On Sunday Nancy joined in with a run from Ashton Gate in Bristol.
