If your enquiry is urgent, please telephone the School Reception during school hours to leave a message for a member of staff who will call you back within 2 school days. You can also telephone the school to make an appointment to meet with a Head of Year.
If you prefer, you can use this online form to contact your child's Head of Year - you will usually receive a response to your online enquiry within 3 school days. Please direct all general school enquiries that do not relate to a student at Haygrove School to the School Receptionist.
You can also email the school using this form.

We have limited parking available at the school if you are visiting.

Director of Teaching School

As a highly successful secondary school and the founding school of the Haygrove Academy Trust, Haygrove School has recently been designated as a Teaching School and is in the process of shaping a Teaching Alliance of local secondary and primary schools.

We are seeking to appoint a highly driven and successful individual who will develop our Teaching School to become a Centre of Excellence across the South West.  This post offers an exciting opportunity to work amongst dynamic, ambitious and forward thinking schools who share a vision for improving the life chances of our young people. The key aim is to develop strong, sustainable and growing partnerships in order to ensure high quality teaching and enriching career learning opportunities for all.

We are looking for a creative and highly committed education professional to direct, develop and manage the activities of the Quantock Teaching Alliance.  This is a role for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and cares passionately about influencing and shaping the outcomes for children and young people.

The successful candidate will:

  • To oversee, lead and develop the Quantock Teaching Alliance
  • To work closely with the Senior Leadership Team of Haygrove School the Alliance Strategic Leadership Group of the Haygrove Academy Trust and other strategic partners to provide professional leadership for the teaching school. 
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the vision and goals of the Quantock Teaching Alliance in implementing improvement across the School, the Quantock Teaching Alliance and beyond. 

Contract type: Full time, fixed term for two years in the first instance, until the establishment of a self-funding model

Salary: Tto be determined based on experience and skills of the successful candidate
